Malachi 3:1
"See, I will send my messenger,
who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come, says the Lord Almighty"
The Outer Courts, is where we gather into His Presence. When we lift our hands (Towdah Praise) we are making a frank declaration, a confession, a sacrifice,
an extension of the hands in praise giving thanksgiving!
This is the time to cast off all our burdens and cares, seek forgiveness for personal shortcomings and sins. This is where we surrender, this is where we offer our bodies as a living sacrifice. This is where we give up something for the sake of something else.
Psalm 42:4, When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.
Psalm 50:23, Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
